Unshaken Belief in God
I am definitely not
claiming to be a good person.Having being born into this material world , I too
have had desires for material objectives , and may be a sinner , as I have not
always played Life according to the Rules of God.
However , I am an ardent
believer of the Almighty , and I have Total belief that the Almighty God has a
plan for each and every soul , and will respond to unshaken faith in the
Almighty.
As a Hindu , I am an
ardent believer in the Hindu Gods ; However , I am also Enlightened to the fact
that there is only One God , and Different People Worship the Almighty in
Different Forms.
I am only expressing my
views through the experiences I have gained, and this blog is not intended to force
anyone to agree.This is simply my experience.
Previous Experiences
Even before My Serious
Ilness in July 2011( Total Renal Failiure – Both Kydneys) , I have experienced
the Power and Mercy of The Almighty Several times.
I have been a Regular
Visitor to India , having
travelled on Pilgrimages to India
19 times during the past 25 Years.
My wife and I have had 4
Sons ( One Son Died at the tender age of 8 Months).We did not have a girl for
20 Years , although My Wife yearned for a Baby Daughter.Despite astrological
predictions that my Wife will never conceive a baby girl , we Surrendered at
the feet of the almighty with unshaken belief.We visited 74 Hindu Temples in
Tamilnadu and Kerala , including 58 Divya Desams of the Total 108 , in October
2006 , and surrendered to Lord Vishnu.In June 2007 , On Ekadasi ( Lord Vishnu’s Special Day ) , Our Daughter was born , and we named her NAARAAYANI SRIHARI.
NAARAAYANI is the consort
of NAARAAYANAN ( LORD VISHNU ) , and SRIHARI is another name for Guruvayoor
Krishna.
There have been other
experiences too , which I will relate later on.
Current Experience
As related earlier , I
collapsed in a blackout in July 2011.It was suspected that I had an Heart
Attack.It was not so.It was Total Renal Failiure.I have a History of
Hypertension , and this was the cause.I am a Workaholic by nature , and I
worked late into the night and had little sleep.My unhealthy eating habits also
contributed to this disaster, although I do not Drink and Smoke.
I was admitted to the
Jaffna Hospital, and in Three Weeks , the Doctors told my family and friends to
discharge me and take to Colombo , for a Kydney Transplant Immediately.The
Jaffna Hospital was good.The Doctors and Nurses and Staff were dedicated , and
I consider it to be one of the best Hospitals in the world, Service Wise , although they lacked many facilities and equipment.I have been to many
Hospitals in The World including the United Kingdom and Canada on my Work trips, and therefore I
can easily vouch for this.
But what can Any Dedicated
Doctor do, when there is Total End Stage Kydney Failiure ?
I was taken to Colombo in an Ambulance ,
and admitted to Hospital.My Family consulted the Best Neprothrologist ( Kydney
Specialist ) , and were told that my end was near , and the Transplant Stage
was also passed.
I was at home.I had not
eaten for 3 Months.I did not go to the Toilet for 3 Months.I could not
urinate.I felt extremely weak.
Friends , Relations ,
Students and Colleagues visited me , and had to come upstairs to my bedroom to
visit me.They sympathized with my family.All those persons will stand testimony
to my medical condition during that period.
PRAYER
I prayed relentlessly to
Lord Siva, and Lord Vishnu.I also Prayed to Jesus and Mother Mary.
I recollected my past
pilgrimages and pleaded with the Almighty to allow me one more time to visit
those Temples
once again.
You will not beleive
this…. I recovered considerably within 2 Weeks.But still I was in danger. I was
able to surf the Internet ,and Thanks to all those persons who had uploaded
valuable Information on the Information Superhighway , I prepared my Itinerary.
Friends and Family were
flabbergasted , and told me I was crazy.Doctors ruled out any Pilgrimage
covering Thousands of miles let alone one mile.
