 DESEASE CURING TEMPLES & SHRINES 

 I am providing below , a detailed description of Three Main Kydney Desease Curing Hindu Temples , where I surrendered to Lord Siva.

In Most Siva Temples , where The Almighty takes on the role of the Doctor , Lord Siva is referred to as Vaithyanathar.

In Most Vishnu Temples , where The Almighty takes on the role of the Doctor , Lord Vishnu is referred to as Dhanvanthri.

In some Siva Temples , you get the Shrine Of Vaithyanatha Swamy in the form of the holy Siva Lingam.Specific Vaithyanatha Swamy Temples that are Extremely Powerful ( Desease Curing Divine Powers) include Thirunallam in Koneri Rajapuram in Kumbakonam , and also the well known Vaitheeswaran Kovil better known as Angarahan Temple , and is one of the Saivite Navagraha Temples in Tamilnadu.

There is a powerful Vaithyanatha Swamy Temple in North Sri Lanka in the Jaffna Peninsula known as Vaidheeswarar Kovil. I paid homage to Lord Siva at this temple , before and after my pilgrimage to India.

There are two Powerful Dhanvanthri Temples in Kerala - Thottuvai Dhanvanthri Temple in Ernakulam ,and Nelluvai Dhanvanthri Temple in Thrissur.

Catholics regard Mother Mary , St.Anthony & St.Sebastian as  the Healing Doctors rather than Jesus.The Belief is that The Almighty Father and Jesus have delegated the responsibility of Health to them.I have also personally witnessed the power of these Saints.Mother Mary is " Arokkiya Matha " ( Our Lady of Good Health or Our Lady of Perpetual Health ) ,and Powerful Desease Curing Shrines  of Mother Mary are thronged by Crowds in Velankanni and Poondi , in Tamilnadu , and Marudha Madhu in North Sri Lanka , and Tewatte in South Sri Lanka.I have worshipped at all these Shrines.

It has been my personal experience , and I will stand testimony to the fact that if One were to Pray at Samayapuram to Mariamman or at Velankanni to Maryamman(Mary Matha), it is the same , and has the same effect.

It is located near Vasudevanallur. One has to take right before Vasudevanallur while on the NH 208 towards North/Tirumangalam. Lord Shiva is called as "Mathiastha Naathar". His consort is Godess Akilandeshwari.Legend is that Lord Shiva Himself did "Mathiastham", meaning moderator, for Chera and Pandia kings when there was a dispute between them, over dividing land territory. It is beleived that this sthalam is a Neer (water - among the Panjaboothams) Sthalam. One who visits this temple is releived from all diseases ( internal and external) pertaining to Water. The Lingam covered with the Golden Nagabaranam. The temple also consists of a Grand Natarajar Sannadhi, a Siddhar's Samadhi. One special thing to mention is the Dhakshnamoorthy here.Dhakshnamoorthy is sitting above all Navagrahas, in a peetam.

How to reach	This sivasthalam temple is located 8 Kms from Aduthurai which is on the Mayiladuturai - Kumbakonam section of national highway. Nearest town is Kumbakonam. One can travel from either Kumbakonam or Aduthurai by town bus which goes to a place called Vadamattam and get down at a place called Konerirajapuram cross road stop. The temple is about 1 Km. from this cross road stop. Tirukkaruvili Kottittai sivasthalam is 2 1/2 Kms from here.

Masilamaneeswarar (Suththaratneswarar ) Temple at  Ooottaththur 

Location: The place is about 3.2 kms south-east of Padalur, which is 34 kms from Trichy on the Trichy – Chennai highway.

Significance: One of the Vaippu sthalams of Shiva

Main Deity: Sundravaneyswarar/ Akilandeswari Suttha Rathneswarar as Swayambu lingam with Akhilandeswari.

Legend: Nandhi river flowing in this region started from the mouth of Nandhi in this temple.

Once Shiva here adjudged Ganges as the supreme among them and so ordered his vahana Nandhi to face her side instead of facing Him.

Temple: This is an early Chola temple constructed by Rajaraja Chola and occupies an area of 5 acrea. The gopuram and a few mandapams have been constructed by Nayaks. We can see a huge Nandhi facing East when we enter the temple. On the roof we can see the Gods of 27 stars and 12 rasis. It is said that this place is good for worship of stars. Nataraja and Sivakami ammai stone idols are made of one single stone. The Brahma Theertham well lies in between the main deity and Nandhi Devar, which is very sacred. The wooden temple car has exquisite sculptures.

Miraculous Recovery - PART 3 -THE ITINERARY

The Itinerary of The Pilgrimage

I prepared the following Itinerary covering approximately 3000 Km.I have experience in Preparing such itineraries , since I have travelled on Pilgrimages 19 times during the past 25 Years.These pilgrimages usuaLLY  covered upto 2000 -3000Km over 2-3 Weeks.I have also prepared Itineraries for Pilgrimages for Friends and relations and have arranged their tours.This was a service provided by me for GOD.Now God was returning the favour.GOD helped me when I was feeble and weak , and kept my brain  alert, as I was preparing the itinerary for myself , while I was on my death Bed.

Even the Friend and Colleague who agreed to accompany me told me that I was trying to do the Impossible.Ultimately ,I convinced everyone.Anyhow , I was aware that my family had given advice to admit me to a good Hospital, if the need arises.This need never arose , because  I was visiting the Best Doctors in the World - Doctor Siva as Vaithyanatha Swamy , Lord Vishnu as Doctor Thanvanthri and Arokkiya Matha as Annai Velankanni.

Miraculous Recovery - PART 2 - UNSHAKEN BELIEF IN GOD

Unshaken Belief in God

I am definitely not claiming to be a good person.Having being born into this material world , I too have had desires for material objectives , and may be a sinner , as I have not always played Life according to the Rules of God.

However , I am an ardent believer of the Almighty , and I have Total belief that the Almighty God has a plan for each and every soul , and will respond to unshaken faith in the Almighty.

As a Hindu , I am an ardent believer in the Hindu Gods ; However , I am also Enlightened to the fact that there is only One God , and Different People Worship the Almighty in Different Forms.

I am only expressing my views through the experiences I have gained, and this blog is not intended to force anyone to agree.This is simply my experience.

Previous Experiences

Even before My Serious Ilness in July 2011( Total Renal Failiure – Both Kydneys) , I have experienced the Power and Mercy of The Almighty Several times.

I have been a Regular Visitor to India , having travelled on Pilgrimages to India 19 times during the past 25 Years.

 My wife and I have had 4 Sons ( One Son Died at the tender age of 8 Months).We did not have a girl for 20 Years , although My Wife yearned for a Baby Daughter.Despite astrological predictions that my Wife will never conceive a baby girl , we Surrendered at the feet of the almighty with unshaken belief.We visited 74 Hindu Temples in Tamilnadu and Kerala , including 58 Divya Desams of the Total 108 , in October 2006 , and surrendered to Lord Vishnu.In June 2007 , On Ekadasi ( Lord Vishnu’s Special Day ) , Our Daughter was born , and we named her NAARAAYANI SRIHARI.

NAARAAYANI is the consort of NAARAAYANAN ( LORD VISHNU ) , and SRIHARI is another name for Guruvayoor Krishna.

There have been other experiences too , which I will relate later on.

Current Experience

As related earlier , I collapsed in a blackout in July 2011.It was suspected that I had an Heart Attack.It was not so.It was Total Renal Failiure.I have a History of Hypertension , and this was the cause.I am a Workaholic by nature , and I worked late into the night and had little sleep.My unhealthy eating habits also contributed to this disaster, although I do not Drink and Smoke.

I was admitted to the Jaffna Hospital, and in Three Weeks , the Doctors told my family and friends to discharge me and take to Colombo , for a Kydney Transplant Immediately.The Jaffna Hospital was good.The Doctors and Nurses and Staff were dedicated , and I consider it to be one of the best Hospitals in the world, Service Wise , although they lacked many facilities and equipment.I have been to many Hospitals in The World including the United Kingdom and Canada on my Work trips, and therefore I can easily vouch for this.

But what can Any Dedicated Doctor do, when there is Total End Stage Kydney Failiure ?

I was taken to Colombo in an Ambulance , and admitted to Hospital.My Family consulted the Best Neprothrologist ( Kydney Specialist ) , and were told that my end was near , and the Transplant Stage was also passed.

I was at home.I had not eaten for 3 Months.I did not go to the Toilet for 3 Months.I could not urinate.I felt extremely weak.

Friends , Relations , Students and Colleagues visited me , and had to come upstairs to my bedroom to visit me.They sympathized with my family.All those persons will stand testimony to my medical condition during that period.

PRAYER

I prayed relentlessly to Lord Siva, and Lord Vishnu.I also Prayed to Jesus and Mother Mary.

I recollected my past pilgrimages and pleaded with the Almighty to allow me one more time to visit those Temples once again.

You will not beleive this…. I recovered considerably within 2 Weeks.But still I was in danger. I was able to surf the Internet ,and Thanks to all those persons who had uploaded valuable Information on the Information Superhighway , I prepared my Itinerary.

Friends and Family were flabbergasted , and told me I was crazy.Doctors ruled out any Pilgrimage covering Thousands of miles let alone one mile.

I am an independent person , and very stubborn and committed.I had my way.Two Dear friends agreed to accompany me on this pilgrimage.

Miraculous Recovery from End Stage Chronic Kydney Failiure

I am creating and writing this blog with the sole intention of making known to devotees who believe in divine miracles , about my miraculous recovery from total End Stage Chronic Kydney Failiure ( both Kydneys ).The medical term used is - End Stage Chronic Renal Failiure.

Objectives of this blog

1.To express my gratitude to the almighty god (even though god does not expect gratitude ) , for my miraculous recovery.

2.To make known the power and mercy of god , to devotees who believe and accept miracles.

3.To inform devotees  , about the power of prayer and unconditional surrender to the almighty god by visiting certain Hindu Temples and Christian Churches with utmost devotion and great belief , and thus encourage them to follow suit , for their own purposes.

4.To publicise the miraculous powers of certain shrines , even though such facts may be already known to many.

5.To promote the development of such ancient shrines  ( many with limited financial support) to ensure that they survive the times , for generations to come. When such shrines are frequently visited by devotees  , they will automatically develop. ( Of course , it is Gods will , and he will have a plan anyway)

6.The objective of this blog is not to duplicate the descriptions of the miraculous temples I visited , since valuable resources in the form of other blogs and websites are already available on the information super highway.I myself obtained such valuable information this way , and I will be duly acknowledging these sources as well as linking to these sites wherever possible and appropriate.

 A  glimpse about myself

I am writing a little about myself to let all the readers know , that the author is not a gullible person who will be easily influenced by magic and illusionary tricks , and thus I can firmly illustrate that , only the power of the almighty god can go beyond the realities of medical science , which itself was created by the same god.

I am a post graduate qualified educational professional , having commenced my career as a lecturer in information and communications technology . I have qualified in special education as well, and I am currently the CEO of a Business School , and also a consultant to other organisations.

I am also involved as a Volunteer and Chief Trustee in a Children’s Charity which operate orphanages for differently able children and operate special needs schools.

I am from Sri Lanka. I am a Tamil , and a Hindu.I am 51 years of age , married and having 4 children (3 boys and one girl).My eldest son is 20 , and is a qualified Information and Communications Technology Professional ,  and the other three children including the last girl are yet schooling.

On My Death Bed

I was diagnosed as having Kydney Failiure and my medical condition progressed from Worse to Chronic , to  reach End Stage Kydney /  Renal Failiure .I had lost more than 30 kgs in weight and   I was unable to walk without assistance , and I felt miserable , particularly  when visitors sympathized with my family knowing that my end was near. I could not eat or drink , and I could not go to the toilet let alone pass urine.
